My Dr.'s office just called and CHA has denied my claim. They say it must be life threatening. I've got Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea, Back problems and all the other goodies associated with M.O. What else could they want??? Has anyone out there had to write a letter of appeal to your insurance co? I'm not sure where to start. I really thought I would have no problem. Even my Dr.'s office was surprised. Dr. Ed Neibert. I want this surgery ASAP! I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired! Thanks!!!

Bonnie, I would do a search on appeal letters. Many members on here have them in their profiles. You could find some and use those as examples. Don't Give Up! Kat

Kat, Thanks for the advise. I've written my appeal letter, thanks to you and the O.H. library. We'll see what happens next! Also my primary care dr. is writing them a letter too. Thanks again! Bonnie
