Anyone with CHA/Commonwealth Administrators Ins info!

I have started my journey for WLS and have CHA through Commonwealth Administrators. Just looking for some info on how well they apporve and what requirements they have. I was told that they used to be good but were starting to denie people. Thanks for any info!

Hello Glenda! I have the same insurance and I was approved and had surgery in Jan 04 There are specific guidlines that you have to meet to be over 100 pounds overweight and be medically necessary causing some other illness. I just got the bill from the hospital today..I pay 20%..th bill was over 13,500.00 dollars and I only have to pay $900.00.. When all is said and done I think I will have paid only $2000.00 or so out of pocket. And yes it is worth it! The best thing to do is call Commonwealth and ask!!!
