June 21st is the first day of the rest of my life!!

I have so many emotions running through me right now. My surgery date is only a little over 4 weeks away and even though I'm nervous, I am so excited to get the surgery part over with. I have every confidence in Dr. Shina and all the precautions he takes before and after surgery. If anyone has had Dr. Shina, I'd love to hear from you. I am still needing an angel---any takers? Also, any advice is always welcome. It'll actually be nice to call myself a "loser". Hope the prayers for me are flooding in, especially on the 21st.

Hi Wanda R. We seem to have a lot in common. I am going to Dr. Gellar, he is an associate of Dr. Shina's. My surgery is scheduled for June 25 at Nortons in Louisville. I live in Hartford in Ohio County. I noticed you have Humana PPO. Are you with the school system in Daviess County?
