Getting closer to getting date!!

Hi all, It's been alongtime since I've posted on this board. I found the over 50 board and since I'm 62 i've been on it more. As the 1st of July, I will only have medicare, as my husband has retired. I call St. Joe wls and told them so I could get my name on file for the surgery as they had only been doing 4 Medicare paients a month. I thought it would still be 3 or 4 months before I could have surgery. BOY, WAS I EVER WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The receptionist was putting me down for the 1st of July!! I said,wait a min,,wait a min! I need to get requinted with everything again and get back on pre-op diet.Also, I just had knee surgery and stll could hardly walk. So, I guess I'll be having surgery toward end of July.I 'm still in shock!!! Will post more later. Linda

Hi Charlene, I was just on the over 50 board and saw your post. Soon as I posted on the Ky. board, I signed off. Just got back on and 1st went to the 50 site. i found it by accident too. You have some answers on the 50 board, but here goes again. Click on main entrance board and then click on member forum in upper left hand corner of page , stoll down to over 50 forum..As you can see there's alot of other interresting things you can go in. Hopes this help. Linda
