I am scheduled for surg...

I am scheduled for surgery on june 14th. I am so excited but I have a fear of not waking up after the surgery. Has anyone else had this fear? If so how did you cope? Please help.

Oh goodness, yes. The fears you experience right before surgery (at least for me) are like nothing else.. I mean, everything you've heard as far as complications that you've heard others had, and esp. death, all just run over and over. At least this was the case with me.
