Madisonville/Hopkins County Area

I am writing to see if any of you out there in or near Hopkins county would be interested in starting a support group. I live in Dawson Springs and go to my surgeon in Paducah but that is just too far to drive at these gas prices. I already have to drive it twice a month for my nutritionist and doctors visits. HI neighbor, I just live about 30 mins. away from you. I am trying to get medicare to approve a lap band and have it done in Louisville, KY. I've never been to Paducah in my life. haha. But if you can get some of these started, and it's on a Tues., Thurs, or Sat, I will do my best to be there. Your neighbor Lydia

Tracy, I live in Madisonville and am interested in a Support Group. My Doctors and Nutritionist are at Vanderbilt. So I drive to Nashville for treatment. Right now I have been through most of the pre-op process. I am also in a supervised weight loss program. My insurance has approved the surgery, But, I have not seen the Surgeon yet. I may be looking at a January surgery date because of some family concerns that may move it til then. Please let me hear from you. Suzzie
