Protein Drink???

What is the best tasting protein drink you have found??? Where did you purchase the mix at? Do you have a recipe for a homemade protein drink??? thanks & BLessings Tonya

Tonya, I have looked and tasted about all the drinks that I could stomach.. I haven't had my surgery as of yet, but I am trying to prepare myself for when I do and when I come home. I found a web site called "bariatriceating.com" and found a protein drink called Nectar. It taste just like weak tang. I was amazed. They ssent me a sample of some chocolate drink and it taste like instant chocolate milk, You can't even taste the powder or anything. Nothing like it. They also have protein bars and protein brownies, vitamins like the kind we are to take after surgery, it is a grreat web site. The lady that ownes it had the RNY herself and that's what she does for a living. They don't sell anything unless it taste good. And that is the truth. I hope this helped you. Keep in touch. Also they have pictures of bebfore and after weight loss and you will not believe what these people look like. I couldn't believe my eyes. That convinced me to order their product first time. You are welcome. I have been at the OH site now sinceApril or May. When I fofund out about WLS and a site for information I couldn't believe it. I probably get on peoples' nerves writing so much, but I have to find out as much as I can. You will really appreciate that web site. They are having a sale right now. I ordered about 180.00 worth of stuff this last week. They shorted me on some protein bars and I e-mailed them immediately and she e-mailed me right back and said she would put the rest in the mail on Monday. I have been satisified with everything I have ordered. Everything is delicious. They have one protein bar that taste just like nutty butty bar. GREAT. You wouldn't know it was good for you unless you read the back of the bar.hahahahahahaha I hope you will be happy also. AT the seminar I attended Thursday night Dr. Nease talked about a site called "bariatricadvantage.com " I think that is what it is called. I am going to look it up right now. Tonya, bariatriceating.com is a good place to order from. You can get samples but the best prices are at muscleshoppe.com. I order the Elite Protein shakes and they are the best I have found. I order the five pound tubs for 24.99 each. A small two pound container is that much usually at bariatric eating. They also have samples. vitalady.com also sells samples and have the largest variety. Over two hundred. With the elite chocolate you can make hot chocolate. It is so good in the wintertime. The Buttercream Toffee is to die for and a change from the others. i don't care for the fruity nectar stuff. I did get some free samples on it once and thought it was nasty.

I perfer Isopure from GNC, its ony 210 calories and provides 50 grams of protein. comes in about 10 flavors. best of luck, nate
