Dr. Shina and Dr.Geller in Louisville..please share experiences!
Hi Shannon!
I went to the seminar and consult last week with Dr. Geller. He was very down to Earth and personable. I was surprised to find out that he is also overweight which makes him more understanding of obesity. Are you thinking about the lap band or the GBS? As of now, I'm leaning toward the lap band since it is less invasive and I'm a total chicken!!
Let me know if you have any questions. I've spent alot of time in the last couple of weeks researching WLS and I would love to help!

Good Morning
I LOVE Dr. Shina!! Many people think he is hard-core. I like the fact that he is honest and DOES NOT sugar-coat the facts. Something I like in a person. I want the facts the "real" info. This is a MAJOR surgery. You could die! But would I do it again?? OH YEAH!! I can not begin to tell you how much better my quality of life is. Go with an open mind. If you can take someone with you, do. You are going to receive a great deal of very important information.
If you have ANY questions let me know.
Blessings
