is something wrong?
I have rny surgery on May 19th, and when I went in for my two week check up I had lost 36 lbs. and then another 4 the following week. However, as soon as the dietician put me on the full liquid/blenderized foods diet, I was at a stand still for 5 days. But then I weighed myself yesterday morning and have put on 5 lbs. I have been eating all correct foods and eating just 1/4 cup each time. Drinking all my water and everything that contains just Splenda. But most of it is water. So I have no idea why I started gaining weight. Can anyone help me out here?
Am I doing something wrong? How can I get my body to start losing again?
HI Sandy
First I have to ask where did you weigh yourself? IF it was not the same scale that told you the previous weight losses then take that into consideration.
second..unless you are a heart patient and it is totally necessary to weigh yourself I would lose the home scale and only weigh yourself at the docs office.
You are not far enough along to worry about not losing..it's only been a month and you will drop alot more before it stops..follow the rules and I promise you will do just fine..

Brenda is sooo right about the scales!! They vary quite abit. As hard as it is not to weight try to wait!! I was weighting just every other week and that is not too bad. I have not gotten on the scales in 3 weeks. I'm trying to wait until I go back to the Dr on the 29th of this month. That will be 6 months and 1 day since surgery!!
