Georgetown Bariatrics????

Hi Heather just saw your post..I had the Lap Band in April of this year at Georgetown and from the patient side I found everyone to be great..All questions answered quickly and alot of information given to help before and after surgery to make right decisions..Catherine the insurance coordinator is wonderful she stays on top of the insurance and keeps you in the loop..The recovery team is wonderful as is the Medsurg Floor and ICU teams..I say this because I also work at the hospital and see these people in action all day Monday through Friday..I could have had my surgery anywhere I wanted but why go somewhere else when I already have the best team within arms reach..Also, coming soon the hospital is opening a wing that is under construction strictly for Bariatric patients that's near my office..This will be really nice and the patients will have another notch of comfort.. I feel coming to Georgetown is a Wise decision and a Oldham touch.. Carolyn
