WHERE OH WHERE????

Where is everyone?! There is not very much activity on this board at all! Where is all the KY WLS people? Just curious why this board is not as active as others... Huggs Sunni

i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the people that had those Georgetown docs have their own site and board. Not sure about that tho. They used to be here, suddenly they are gone. I don't post here very often simply because it is so slow.

Sunni, That's a good question! I know that the lap-band folds in Kentucky are very active on the lap-band page of OH and don't really post a whole lot on the Kentucky page. I remember a few months ago we had a thread called "Kentucky Roll Call" and about 30 people responded that they visit the Kentucky page. I think that if we keep posting here, eventually this page will become more popular (just like some of the other states). My best, Charles

I too wish there was more activity here. I'm only 9 miles from Cincinnati but I'm a KY girl. My car just doesn't like to go across the river. My surgery is 10/17 I just can't wait to be a looser.

I guess if we try to keep the board active, more people will join in...As Charles said! I am on the Texas board a lot and it is very active, so I was just shocked when I started posting here, to find out it may be a day before someone actually posts anything. Hi Everyone I am trying my best to get Kentucky people interested in posting..I will be visiting area support groups talking about the board and actually how important it is to post about your doc and hospital..for those preops searching this is the place to read all about it,, I do talk at Dr. Sonnanstines meetings from time to time and will be doing that more often as we get closer to the National event in Lexington next year. I will be in Georgetown on Thurs and Friday joining Dr's Oldham and Weiss in surgery on Thurs. then that evening attending a support meeting with at least one of them..then on Friday I will have a meeting with Dr. Steiner's office and finish my visit with another meeting in Georgetown...huff puff. (think I won't be worn out?) hopefully I will get some folks interested in the boards..keep your fingers crossed!! Brenda

i agree sunni there is alot of ky ppl but noone every posts on the ky board.. so i rarely do.. about once a week.. because noone is never here..
