Anthem Paying????

Hello everybody I was just wondering if anybody has been approved by Anthem bcbs, as of late in Kentucky, I have a friend who is considering surgery, and that is her insurance. I had CHA and had to go to the external review board in Ky to get approval, for both myself and my son. Any input would be great Thank you Trish,

I have Anthem BC BS HMO Blue Prefered. I was approved the first time but I did have proof of wt loss attempts. When I called they just told me it had to be medically nessesary. My BMI is 46 and I have Hyptertention and back problems documented for years and I just was diagnoised with diabetesII. I hope your friend has as good as luck as I did. It took less than a week to get approval.
