UPDATE!

Hello everyone I thought I'd better post and let all my buddies know how I am doing I had my surgery on Sept.22,2005 at Georgetown Bariatric Center my Doc was Dr. Weiss he was wonderful the whole staff was and still is wonderful I had the lap band done and am almost 5 mths out I am down 71lbs I was weighing in at 306lbs know I am weighing in at 235lbs I feel GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I no longer take any medications for high blood pressure. acid reflux and I no longer have to sleep with oxygen Praise the lord I am very satisfied with my weight lose for I wasn't expecting to lose this much this fast especially with the band but I did and I hope I keep on losing Well good-luck to all of you and I will try to post more often I hope to make it to Lexington in OCt I only live about hour and a half away and I forgot I have always been a housewife mainly because I was so overweight that I could not stand very long without my back going out I know have a full time job and I am loving it the surgery has changed my life for the better and I know it is going to keep on getting better and better : )

CONGRATS on the weight loss Crystal. I am planning on attending the Lexington Conference too. I would like to keep in contact with you and others who are going to be at the conference. I hope you continue to lose. Take care and God Bless.

i just hope it stays the "Lexington" conference and is not held in Georgetown. I saw on here where they were trying to sign a contract with a hotel somewhere. I don't know of any hotel in G-Town or lexington that will be able to host a national Convention or maybe my expectations of attendance are too high.

The conference is not going to be in Georgetown, we never considered it as a site..it will be held in Lexington..
