What's a Q Pain Pump?
Hi Ginny!
I am having mine at St Joes east. Dr Stiener is doing it. I am excited but mroe nervous and giddy right now..lol. This is not my first surgery, but the thought is still kinda scary to be put out. Hopefully I will work all that out of my system before surgery..lol.
Keep us posted on your surgery!
Thanks for all the info Brenda. I enjoy your postings. I go tue for my consults so I don't have a date or a doctor but Dr. Weiss is on my insurance letters.I've got to go this fri for an ekg, chest xray, & blood work. This has been a LONG journey for me. My 1st appoinment was back in June!! I got all my paperwork & test done quickly but some things got "re-directed" & the insurance was planning the she said, he said game. Last year I had met my deductable by the summer so it would ALL have been paid & I beleive that's why they stalled me. But I'm back on track & getting things done. The staff @ Georgetown has been great! They always have went the extra mile for me & responded back by phone calls or emails! I'm getting excited about it now.
Ginny, I will be at the hospital the week of March 6th..I was scheduled for Monday but I can't be there now, I have meetings here in Ohio.
I should be there that Wed and Thurs. though..
If they schedule you for that week let me know, I will be sure to come talk to you before surgery..You can ask Dr. Weiss that day if I am there, he will tell me to come talk to you..
There was someone else from here on the boards that had surgery down there, she told me later she looked to see if she could find me but never asked. I felt so bad because I was there the entire day, I would have loved to have met her.
