What's a Q Pain Pump?

Brenda Thanks for all your good work. I had the on Q after my LapBand on the 30th of January when you were there. It pulled out like a piece of thread after the ball was empty. I have a, appt/fill on the 14th and wil hang around for the support group meeting at noon. If you are around Georgetown I would love to meet you. Barry

Hi Barry that's awesome!! even though I have attended surgery many times with the docs I usually leave the room about the time they are finishing up. I get to go on to meet the next patient so I didn't see them place a pump in anyone, next time I will wait and watch. I think I am going to be there on the 14th, someone had invited me to watch their lapband fill, Dr. Weiss said if the patient was ok with that it was fine with him. I will then come to the meeting to say hello.. I wont know until next week if I will be there for sure, alot of folks on vacation this week so I am not officially scheduled. ask someone if they have seen me, they will know if I am around! thanks Brenda

WOW!!!!!!! I go up there Tue all day & I'm w/Dr. Weiss too!! I went for all my testing Fri @ Georgetown & asked about the pump & 1 of the nurses said that the Dr.'s can work it in if needed but from the responses I've been having maybe we don't need it? I hope to see you tue Joyce. I've got to be there @ 7:15 so look for me.

My date is March 23 & Dr. Weiss is doing it. There were 9 people & only 2 of us are having the bypass, the rest are doing lap bands. Have you noticed this trend? If you're going to be around, I'd love to talk to you.

I am never really sure when I will be there Ginny, we are working on something but I don't know what days I will be scheduled...be sure to ask the doc that day if I am around..and email me right before to remind me.. What time are you scheduled?

lol you have to be there that early, but not him!! isnt he the cutest thing? even in the morning he looks good! if the banders go first I will have time to visit with you..please do email to remind me..I will send him a note as well.
