Heard from Registered Nurse Kat

Heard from Kat and wanted to update the folks who have asked for updates. She is doing as well as can be expected. They have accounted for all of her relatives except her aunt who lives close to the superdrome area. They are praying for her safety. She says she feels lucky that she has family support as she is in an area with 5000 folks in shelters and more in hotels. Many of whom do not have any support network. I find it amazing to hear that she and her family were putting together some care packages for a local shelter in the area. She will be going to the Red Cross tomorrow to register as someone affected by this disaster. She says that she doesn't need anything at this time and will keep me posted as she can. I told her that many of you have asked me to let her know we are all praying for her, her family & relatives and all affected. Carolyn
