I dont think you need anything like that.  It could hurt more then help.  Just leave them until they say it is time you can wash, then soap and water

Yep.  That is what I was told too.  Just soap and water.

You should NOT spray anything on your incisions.  Leave them alone, they will heal much faster if you don't mess with them.

I used real warm salty water for my incisions after showering with an antibacterial soap...I would dry the salty water solution with a hair dryer and let it stay for a few mins....and then rinse with clear water on a cotton ball...and then put betadine on after that and dry...
I just did not want to get an infection...Mine healed up great...!!!

I'm crazy that way..!!!

Glad to see you are doing good and that you are on the losers bench...!!!

Woooooo-hooooooooooooo...!!!!

Just wash with soap and water. Pat dry after. DON't use Betadine- it is toxic to tissue.

It's the Pure Iodine that is toxic to the tissue...Not the betadine..

Unless betadine solution is diulted 10 times- that is 10 parts water to 1 part betadine, it is toxic to tissue, and causes tissue death.  I was surprised to learn this last year at a 2 day conference on wound care best practice. We only use it on wounds that are not going to heal, sadly there are people out there with wounds that won't heal due to poor or no blood flow.

I sprayed antibacterial spray from walmart on mine- honestly that was in my instructions  :)
I dont know if it helped or not. I am a firm believer in soap and water, and was careful to keep my clean.  The one under my bra gave me fits!!!  I had to sleep braless at night, and only then did it finally heal.  I also dabbed a bit of neosporin on mine sometimes as well.  Due to the slow healing, my pcp had me put bactroban on the under the bra incision. I didn't see where it changed anything though.
