What is a goode antiseptic spray to keep wounds clean

those sprays damage tissue and inhibit healing.

I was told nothing but antibacterial soap and water, just lightly getting incision wet.

You will only want to use a mild antibacterial soap and water on them. The sprays inhibit healing and often will cause an overgrowth of other bacteria (the ones that the spray is not formulated to kill). Make sure and use a clean wash cloth each time...one that has not been used on other body parts yet. Don't use a shower "scrubbie".....while they are nice for exforiating intact skin, they are huge harbors for bacteria that you don't want on your incisions!
