Still waiting for date to be confirmed, because .....

This has been a long wait, but I realize not as long as some people have waited.
I got a letter last week saying I need to go for a ES&D X-ray, I thought there was something wrong from all my test. I called the office and now the doctors want everyone to go for this before the surgery, which is good.I Have a tentative date which was to be confirmed today when I saw Laura (dietitian , visit went well). The only problem is the X-ray is 6 weeks after my tentative date lol. Sooo we will see what happens. Julie was away today and was trying to get the X-ray moved up.

Will let you know when I hear.

 Lets hope your X- ray can be moved up Its not unusual for X-ray to have cancellations and schedule people last minute. I am glad all went well with Laura today. You are getting sooooooo close. you will be sleeved in no time. We're rootin for ya. keep us posted

very exciting news!

You are in the home stretch now! It is just a matter of waiting for the details to sort themselves out. I was so excited then, I couldn't believe it was really happening. Don't worry, one day soon you will be dressing in an ugly gown & be wheeled by a good looking man down to the OR. LOL!

I had my surgery done with out the x ray. Unless they are getting real sticky about that. ~Cheryl

I did not have an x-ray.  What is the extra for?

They said that there is a high number of people after the surgery that have acid reflux, so now they want everyone to have the X-ray. It is new so that's why you probably didn't have to get one Cherly
They want to see if there is something they can do to prevent it.

X-ray moved up to May 4th ya, the were very good about it, so my date will be June 6th. Three more weeks till pre op diet!!!!

 YIPPPEEEEEEDoes that mean that ALL your preop tests are now complete? 3 more weeks. holy crap!!!! I am so excited for you. I cant wait to see all your posts as you go through this cuz i am not too far behind you. i wonder if i could have my gp schedule my ESD Xray this week. I dont see Dr. Andrew until Friday but since it is mandatory, maybe i could get him to at least book me an appt. keep us posted on your journey Shann
