NOW, I'm excited.
In just a few hours, when COMP opens for the day, I hope I'm their first call. I get to call and schedule my surgery!!! I got the voicemail last night that they finally received my approval/authorization from Aetna.

I have to say, and I told her the same thing, that Rose is so wonderful, and so very helpful. I had a nice talk with her last Friday, and told her how much I appreciate her, and apologized if I ever gave the impression that I thought she was doing less than 100%. I realize that she is very overwhelmed with the additional workload due to an increased patient load. I still do feel that she doesn't get enough help and support from the rest of the front office. But, Rose is the best! I was very wrong if I ever implied she wasn't the best. The holdup on my case was purely the insurance company, and an either overworked or uncaring Nurse. On Monday, I requested either another Nurse or a supervisor to light a fire under the current Nurse. It's all a distant memory now, because I AM APPROVED!
I'm sure that I appeared obnoxious during this ordeal, and I thank everyone, for all of your friendship and support. This group is truly a blessing. Next post will be with a date. YEAH!

Hugs!

Yay Kathy
That is great news!!!! and you have not been obnoxious .. you have shared your experience with the whole process and it just so happens that your experience was not necessarily as good or bad as someone else's experience.
Congratulations on the approval and best wishes as the journey continues.
Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
