Impending Grandma Update

aw Amy... My hugs go out to you and your family... Feel comforted though that modern medicine is great with preemies. My husband's aunt's grandson was born here in MD (Crofton i think) and if i remember correctly he was the smallest baby born in MD (or one of them) and is doing fine now as a toddler. My own dd was born 4 weeks early and i think she was a preemie for like 2 weeks or something because she grew like a weed and quickly jumped over to the over 100% for height and weight for all her life. She's been taller than me the last couple years even. ~K

I am quite secure about the baby. I know being a premie is not great even with todays' medicine, but it isn't what it was when I had 2 of them. I am worried for N. This heart condition scares the bejesus out of me.

Aime, I was hoping that childbirth would resolve some of the problem for your daughter-in-law. I hope that they are able to stabilize her after she gives birth, and get her on a path to healing. Let us know what the doctors plan after delivery, and what their prognosis is. Prayers continue!
Hugs!

Aime,      Praying for your grandbaby and the mom. It is amazing today what they can do in the hospitals.
