Help!!! I need help again.

Hi everyone. I dont have a problem. In fact I have a reward waiting for me and to recieve my reward I first have to get my tool. Yes!!! I go to surgery on Tuesday. By late morning I'll have that tool and be on my journey to a prayerfully longer, healthier life. That my reward. I am somewhat nervous about the unknown but comfortable with my decision. I have learned so much from my OH family. There is one thing you can help me with. I do need encouragement and warm thoughts coming my way. Thanks for sharing. Gloria

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Gloria, I can't wait to welcome you to the losers bench! You will do great, and in a few days you'll forget all about any nerves that you had. When and if you meet Nick a tech, and Cindy Smith an RN, tell them I said HI. They are awesome, and will take amazing care of you. If you need anything while you are at GBMC, or you just want someone to stop by, let me know, I work fairly close to there. My best thoughts and wishes will be with you for an uneventful surgery, a lightening fast recovery, and lots of losing.
