You are so right- I umm stunk at eating today.  I had strawberries and blueberries for breakfast. 2 oz of chicken and carrots for lunch. For dinner I had some 93% lean ground beef, minced up with some taco season and fat free refried beans. 2 protein shakes and I am done for the day. I really had to make a conciuos effort to eat today, as I was really afraid to do it.

Damn, I hope you feel better. I love hot wings, and ever since the surgery. I still eat them. I have reaction to them at all. I guess it varies from person to person. Is that the first time you had them? Anyway I have had a reaction to taco meat before. It was not fun. I hope you feel better.

This will be the only time that I will be referred to as a loser.......

It is so weird to me that different people get sick off of different foods.  I love anything taco, and would be so upset if I couldn't do that.  Thank you though- I do feel SO much better today.

Does fat make you dump, too?  Unless you're just very sensitive to sugar, I'd be surprised there was enough in the wing sauce to make you sick.  But, there is a lot of fat there.  A lot of times, those wings are fried, then they put the sauce on and run them under the broiler. So sorry you got sick!  I've only had one "stuck episode" and it was miserable for several minutes.  Fortunately, the capsule (it was on medicine) melted quickly and was on its way.

Not sure what makes me do it- this was the first time. I honestly think that it was the fat. I have one other time tried something "fried"- It was a crab cake that I asked to be broiled and they fried it. After I bite or 2 I fiqured it out and had them fix it. But I did get the "foamies " after that.  Before I knew how much sugar was too much, I had a few of the twisted bars. Only ever ate 1/2 one at a time, but that would have been about 7 1/2 sugar. So I don't think it was sugar, but I could be wrong.  My calcium get stuck about ever other day. I am desperately trying to find a palatable chewable calcium.

I have 2 boxes of Caltrate caramel chews I'll be happy to mail to you if you PM me. That was the first thing I did that got stuck. It was my fault, I was very absent minded, and didn't chew it well at all. I put the whole thing in my mouth, forgot all about my RNY and chewed a few times and swallowed a huge piece. I paid for it with vomiting for several hours. Now, I can't even put one near my face without gagging.  I switched to Bariatric Advantage lozenges. You may have gotten sick because of the combo of sugar and fat. I got sick on the first fried thing I tried. That was an accident too. I ordered something that had previously been steamed, but the people I work with ordered from a different restaurant. I'm glad you feel better today. From what I have read, it is a good thing to do mostly liquids after you have an "episode" to give your stomach a rest.

Speaking of calcium ...  If anyone wants a box of Citracal Creamy Bites, it's yours for the asking.  PM me.  I tried one and they reminded me of Tootsie Rolls with chalk in them.   Trader Joes has a decent soft chew, but it's calcium carbonate, not citrate.  Too bad, because they are quite palatable.  I just bought some chewable wafers, cherry flavor, at GNC.  I'll let you know what I think.  I know the Bariatric Advantage ones are okay because my nut had samples and I tried one.  But they ain't cheap.

I anxiously await your review. My only complaint about the Bariatric Advantage, well in addition to the price being on the high side, is they take forever to disolve for me. They have to be 1/2 gone before I can chew them (I have small teeth, lol).
Hugs!
