I'm glad everything went well. Dr. VonReuden is an excellent surgeon. he did my friend's RNY and he has had no complications whatsoever. He was high risk, so Dr. V put him in ICU to recover so he would have the utmost care around the clock. Dr. V visited him every day the three days he was there in the hospital and spent time with him for more than just a few moments. I have to say though, I think you may be mistaken about Aetna requiring you to lose 10% of your excess weight. I have Aetna now and they do not require that. I see Cira posted that Aetna did not require her to lose 10% either. Best of luck to you.
