Morning all!!  Well, my medical vacation is slowly winding down.  Boo!!  I've gotten a lot done this week, some stuff around the house, a lot of reading, and catching up with friends. Today, I'm grateful for: 1.  My sweet Brian - I posted about Kaity's accomplishments earlier this week.  Now, it's B's turn.  He, too, got a spectacular report card on Monday.  His teacher said he is very nearly a perfect student (I happen to think he's the perfect nephew!), and a joy to have in class.  Although his sister would vehemently disagree, he is such a good boy, very sweet, very loving and very eager to please.  Now if I can JUST find a way for him to carry that over when he becomes a man!! 2.  A cute endodontist - Gotta for a root canal follow-up this a.m. - Good thing he's a hottie or he wouldn't be getting in MY mouth!! 3.  Time with my Mom - We're gonna do some shopping later and have lunch together.  Don't know what I'd do without my Mom! Have a great day everyone!  Don't forget to think good thoughts for Aaron!! Tia

Hi Heather! 1.  Yay for pedicure tools!!!  I refuse to pay someone to do what I can do as well, if not better!!! 2.  Yahoo!!  Except I drink water or iced tea with mine.  I try really hard to stay away from alcohol altogether - it is SO not a wls patient's friend with its empty calories!! 3.  Awwwwwwwwww!!    Okay, so you said 3 - 15 and 18 - I assume you have twins? HOW WAS THE DAY WITH THE FRIEND??? Tia

I have three...not twins...my 8 year old is my shadow so I know she loves me for who I am...lol...I am thankful for her...but the 15 and 18 year old despite their typical teen attitudes...they think of me as a friend BUT dont forget Im their mother first..Last year after prom they asked me if I would take them and their dates to cry baby bridge at midnight...(an urban legend)...I was sooo shocked that I was "cool" enough to be thought of as the "after party"...lol...So Im thankful that they dont get embarrassed over their overweight mom...

1.  Patience - the crazy mother of my grandchildren came and took them from my house last night and I don't know where they went.  2.  My husband - because without him I would have not had so much retraint last night.  3.  Patient neighbors - while we are going through all this drama with the ultimate drama queen.  My husband told me last night, "Maybe you should postpone your surgery with so much going on, you might not be in the right frame of mind."  Nothing is stopping me from having this surgery on May 20th.  I'm 3 days into my liquid diet and people should know not to mess with me.  (Usually I'm not this angry, but today is an exception)  I can no longer put up with crazy people.

Hey Lisa! God, I'm sorry you're going through all of this.  I hope they're safe and that you hear from them soon. Hit your husband on the head for me.  I'm sure he means well, but you need to do this for YOU!!  Then you can worry about taking care of everyone else. I don't envy you the liquid diet, you're doing great.  Just a little while longer!! Tia
