Hopkins Bayview Support Group

I was wondering if anyone goes to the Hopkins Bayview support group.  I had surgery there but have never attended a meeting because of the time.  I was considering going but did not know what the turnout was like.  Since it is a pretty far drive for me I was wondering how many people went as I do not want to be a group of 1. Thanks

I have only gone to one and there were only three or four post ops. A lot of pre-ops. I could go with you, if you want.

Thank you so much for offering to go with me!! Woke up this morning, in fact, I'm not sure I really slept.  Have a killer sore throat, cough and ear ache.  Went back to be and just got up.  I will not be going tonight, but would really love to go another week  I will look at my school schedule and the schedule of support group classes. 

I had my RNY back in  2003, wow, and went on and off for about a year.  I popped in now and again over the next couple years to see what was going on, but it was mostly pre-ops.  I was thinking about attending again to re-connect with the community.  I have a plastic consult with Shermak in June. 

I would love to hear how the plastics consult goes. 

I'll let you know.  I have my first months ago and I have two scheduled for the same day in June.  I'm also considering looking into Mexico, but haven't a clue where to start.  i'd like to have the surgeries in January 09, when it's slowest at work.

Hi Guys  I went last week and I loved it.  I am pre-op and it did seem like about 75% of the people there were.  I thought it was the 1st and 2nd Thurs of the month??  Is it every Thurs?? Thanks

I believe the meeting I wanted to attend takes place on the 2nd and 3rd Thursday of the month.  I would really like to attend but I have to try and work it in with my school schedule.
