How is it different than regular yogurt and where do you buy it?

There are no silly questions!!! :) I wondered for a long time before I went out and got some - go get some NOW!!:) It is a little thicker than regular yogurt and much higher in protein.  It is plain in flavor, almost tastes like sour cream out of the tub. But you can do anything with it.  I have made tziki sauce (my grandmothers traditional Greek recipe - the stuff they put on gyros and suvlaki), I have made tastefully simple dips with it, and I ususally have it for breakfast with a packet of splenda, some dried fruit and kashi go lean sprinkled in for crunch.

Tia where are you, you should be on this one! LOL Greek yogurt is good if you put something in it.  I can not eat it plan but if you look at the amount of protein in it, WOW that is why I try to like it.  I am going to try crunchy in it next time.  I need to get back off the mushies again.  But you can get it at Giant Food or at Trader Joe's, oh and Martin's sells it as well.  Try it, it is not like green eggs and ham but you will see, you may like it I say.  Ok someone come to my house and get this book. Brandi - I apologize, but Kristen ASKED for this: I do not mind it in a bowl, I will not eat it in a hole, I do not mind it from a box, I will not eat it with a fox, I do not mind it on a boat, I will not eat it with a goat!!!! Okay, I'll stop. Ummm....well, they already answered your question.  The way it's processed/strained gives it more protein - 13 grams for a 5.3 oz. container.  Be warned, it's not cheap - about $1.79 - $1.99 for a small container, but it WILL fill you up and I'd bet that once you're cleared to eat soft foods post-op, the most you'll be able to eat is 1/2 a small container, if that!! I, like, Caryn, use it as both a sweet and a savory - in fact, the other night, I put a dollop on my chili.  I buy the 0% fat, but it also comes in 2%, which some people prefer!!! A lot of protein bang for your buck!! Tia

Thanks, ladies. :) I'll look for it the next time I go grocery shopping. I figure it can't hurt to start trying some things now to see what I like.
