3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
Morning all - As Heather posted for me last night, I spoke with Cira around dinnertime, mercifully, she and Baby Gia had BOTH gotten some much needed sleep and Gia was successfully getting fluids. I've texted Cira this a.m. to call me when she's up to it. I'll continue to update. I did tell Cira that I didn't do the daily posts yesterday and she sounded disappointed, so we'll get back into our routine.
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. An inside job - Even though my a/c barely works in the office, I'll still take it over having to work outside. My brother's a letter carrier and that poor guy came home last night looking like a wrung-out dishrag!! If it was me, there'd be a newsflash, "Letter carrier missing, only clue is puddle of melted fat!!!" Ugh!!! If you're home and you see your letter carrier (especially the ones that walk), offer him/her some water, please!!! Yeah, they chose that job, but they work in horrendous conditions just to make sure you get your bills on time!!!! LOL!!!
2. That Cira seems to have kept her sense of humor despite everything. Last night, she was giving me a hard time about some of the men I've dated recently, and while I can't really post on here her exact words, let's just say she "had her Rican up!!!" I think we ended the call on a laughing note - she needed that, too!
3. That tonight, I get to spend some time just with B. I love them equally, but K gives B SUCH a hard time, constantly messing with him (yes, I know, that's her job as older sister), but it's such a relief to my little guy when she's not around. I have to take him for his allergy shot and I'll let him choose where he wants to eat (undoubtedly McD's or BK - ICK!), and he'll actually be willing to talk to me. Granted, our conversations will revolve around Pokemon or the latest antics of his friend, Kellen, but I enjoy watching his face as he tells me stories. I can already see the sensitive, kind man he'll grow up to be - now if I can just teach him not to lie to women, we'll be good!!!
Have a great day everybody! Stay cool!

1. I definitely have to say thanks to AC today as well. I actually have the air conditioning vent right above me and I usually complain I am too cold, but not after yesterday!! I feel so bad for all the people that had to work outside!!
2. I am thankful that eventhough I almost broke and ate something bad last night when i got off my parttime job, I stayed strong and stuck to the pre-op diet my surgeon instructed me to.
3. For OH, now that I have officially started my process I am so excited to have it going! I dont think I ever would have made this step if I didnt join this website but thanks to all the info and wonderful people
I feel I have made a well informed good decision.

April -
Trust me, at even almost 3 years post-op, I still eat bad things sometimes. The difference is that now, I eat a LOT less of it and a lot less often. So, get yourself back on the horse like you've done and continue riding. It may always be a struggle for you like it is for a lot of us, but we're all here for each other and that makes it easier!!

1. My psych eval is today and my sleep study is tonight! I'm getting closer!!!
2. My parents are the best! My car is going haywire and had to be put in the shop. My dad has been so generous in rearranging his schedule to make sure I can use his car when I need to get to my appointments.
3. My adorable nephew. He's "graduating" from Pre-K today and he was so excited to tell Aunt Brandi all about it. I love that little boy to pieces!!!

Hey Brandi -
Let us know how you do with the "I'm not crazy - am I?" study and the "sleep-LESS study"!!!
Families are (for the most part) the best, aren't they? Mine have been so supportive through all of my ups and downs!
Um, okay, Aunt Brandi - this calls for a graduation gift. You know that, right????!!!
