1) It's FRIDAY!!! I'm not one for wishing my life away but this has been one LOOOOOOOONG week!!! 2) I am leaving at 2 p.m. to get a KUB (X-ray) done and have a follow up appt with the NP at the urologist office at 3:40 3) The concern and support I see extended to me and others by my extended internet family. Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Today I'm grateful for:
1. My husband. Even though him and his ex are split up and his daughter is only with us on weekends, he is a terrific dad. He's maintained a very friendly relationship with her mother for her ake and he's as involved in her life as any full-time dad. I can't wait until we can give Catie a little brother or sister.
2. My dad. He's absolutely one of my favorite people in the entire world and at 28 I am still very much Daddy's Little Girl. I have a wonderful relationship with my mom, but my dad and I are so alike and have such an amazing bond.
3. Good, honest car mechanics. My car is in the shop and the mechanic could have easily taken me for broke since I thought I had a problem with the computer and/or electrical system. But, he was very honest and it's only ending us costing me a 1/3 of what I had anticipated.
Have a great weekend everyone!
