I agree with Jen DEEP BREATH!  I remember that time and it was WILD!  That is great for you!  Now the planning can start.  Time to go stock up on water. Hugs Kristen

YAY!!!!! Yep, remember those feelings well! The time before will go faster than you think. Next thing you know you will be posting that your surgery is tomorrow and we'll all be rooting for you and saving you a seat on the Loser's Bench! I agree.....deep breaths! Everything will fall into place. Keep posting and asking questions. There are no dumb questions and for all of us post ops we've been there and remember what it's like before surgery. :-)

Congrats on getting your date! I agree the time will go by faster than you think. I used the time to plan. Although I did buy too much stuff ahead of time. It is good to be prepared. At the same time, tastes and interests can be different after surgery. The beginning is different for everyone. You may find you want different things than you thought. Also, in the beginning, you may be more comfortable with some things and not with others. Still, it is all exciting!

Congratulations on your date and best wishes as your WLS journey continues. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Congratulations:  Only advise I can give you is take a deep breath and follow the instructions of your doctor.  I'm in Cambridge and I see you're not too far from me.  If you need someone to talk to, PM me and I'll give you my phone number.  We are starting a Eastern shore support group with our first meeting at the Denny's in Easton on July 10th at 7pm.  It would be great if you could come.  It will be our first group, so it may not be completely organized, but I know there are going to be a few people there that have recently gone through this, including myself.
