Surgery tomorrow...lots of emotions
Heather: You're feeling what everyone feels just before surgery. Tomorrow morning might be the worse yet. But, once you get to the hospital and back into the pre-op area, you will feel a lot calmer. Seeing Dr. A will probably releave some of your nervousness too. You will be fine. And, if something does go wrong, you are a strong woman with a great support family who will see you through it! Think happy thoughts just before the surgery too...that helps! Deb
Hi Heather,
I understand what you're going through. The fear, the doubt, the what-if's - I was a wreck. But I can say - three weeks later - that I am glad that I went through with it. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm believing that the Lord will see you through this surgery successfully. I will PM you my telephone number. Please feel free to call me if you need anything, or you just need someone to talk to. In the meantime...Just breathe...You're going to be fine. (((((HUGS)))) and
and Blessings, -Antoinette

Heather As everyone has already commented you are not alone in your feelings. I had doubts until the morning of the surgery and was a nervous wreck but once I got to the hospital and everyone who does the pre op preparations was so nice and Dr. A is so calm he will make you feel very comfortable. Dr. A had a really tough time with completing my surgery laposcopic but he needless to say he did and it was successful and I had no complications. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take Care.
