3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
Nic,
You are not a screw up at all, so don't say that!!! I am glad you are feeling better. As much as our bodies change, somehow the head takes SOOOOOO much longer to catch up. It gets better! take it from one who has had years of therapy.....sometimes it is better to pay someone to listen to you, *****ally has nothing invested then talking to friends and family, the 3rd party advice usually is hard to swallow but the right thing to do.
I am happy that you are feeling better!!
Tia:
I'm an 80's girl too. Big hear, one glove, Madonna type. Funny a friend and I were just talking about that the other day. Even though I was fat, I was never out of fashion.
1. That I'm not standing in some god awful line in NYC this morning to see some tourist attraction. Those lines were so long. And some people say that American's are rude. There was this one bunch of ladies and they kept pushing and pushing. It started with just 2 people in line in front of us and ended up with 10 or 11. They got so close I thought I wouldn't be able to breathe. I was carrying my umbrella and I stuck it out and as they got closer and closer the tip of my umbrella was poking them in the back (Okay, it wasn't a sharp tip . . .). I know that's mean, and very unlike me, but I couldn't take it any more, standing in line for the ferry for over an hour and not being able to breathe.
2. Today is my husbands first day at his new job. He has also decided to go the the men's group at church with a neighbor of ours tonight. He said that he feels he needs to thank God for his new opportunity. I'm so proud of him.
3. That we are actually getting a support group on the Eastern Shore. I hope there are lots of people who can attend.

Hey Lisa!!!
I LOVE vintage Madonna!!! And I remember when Thriller came out. The Gloved One is just TOO bizarre for me to respect nowadays!!
You know, it's funny - when we're in NYC, the ones pushing and shoving and being rude are neither New Yorkers nor Americans. When Mom & I were on the Staten Island Ferry in December, she was almost pushed to the floor by two foreign speaking 20 somethings. OMG!!! I wanted to kill!!! So rude!!! You're right, you hate to be like that, but.....
Good luck to Larry on his new job!!! Hope all goes well for him!
Hugs,
Tia
What didn't we do? We saw the WTC, stayed right across the street. The hotel was great. Did all 3 tours on the gray line bus. Went to the top of the empire state building at midnight where I asked all of the attendants which elevator Cary Grant took to go meet Debra Kerr and no one knew? I thought I got proposed to, but it was actually someone else. Did the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Did Madame Tousseau's wax museum: I sang in front of a bunch of people I didn't know, Simon told me not to quit my day job (American Idol exhibit). I kissed Will Smith and Justin Timberlake and Prince. Almost got busted for buying a Fake Coach bag on the street (that would have been easy to explain to my family). Got my meatball, not from Carmines, but some deli there in Times Square. We had a fantastic time. I'm ready to go again in the fall. It was so hot and it rained on us while we were sitting on the top of the double decker bus, so I looked like a wet dog for most of the afternoon. All in all it was a great time!!!!!

When we believe, all things are possible!
1. That today is our CFO's birthday so we get a free lunch. Woohoo..I'm all for free food. lol
2. Doggie Daycare. I take my dogs (Bella & Riggo) a couple days a week and they are always SOOO tired but happy when I pick them up. They come home, eat, go outside to do their business and then are totally crashed out for the rest of the night. I wish I could afford to do it every day while we are at work.
3. Only 2 more days of work after today. Yay! And normally we close the office early the day before a major holiday so hopefully only 1 1/2 more days.
Hope everyone has a terrific day!
Tina
I have so many people make fun of how much we spoil our dogs. But it makes a HUGE difference in their energy levels and our sanity in the evenings. lol And they are such socialized dogs, with people and other dogs. It was funny one day last week when I was picking them up another goldendoodle(that is what mine are) came out as I was standing there paying for some new toys. Bella just went nuts when she saw him trying to get over to him. Turns out they all play together in the same yard and the girl told me that he is Bella's boyfriend. lol
