3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!
I remember Marylynn. No that one was gone a long time ago, along with a loooooong string of other ones. He has been living with a wonderful girl named Cindy for a while now. She is terrific.
Mike's mom, granny, passed about 2 years ago. That was extremely hard. She died at home with her family around. She had been sick for a very long time.
You can tell me those stories in person. OC isn't that far away!!!!

Along with a looooooooooooong string of other ones. Of course, is there any other way??? I'm glad he's found someone nice after all this time.
I knew Mike's Mom had been ill for soooo long, I'm glad the family was with her. I know he had to have taken it hard.
I can't wait till OC - you guys pick the night - I'm flexible. I'm going to try to talk my brother into coming with me so you guys can meet him and see what a great guy he is.

Tia:
I know Mike was just kidding with his comment to me, but he is a OINKER.
Granny had 8 children and they were all devistated. Along with the grands and cousins and everyone else that knew her. They called the family the night that she passed and we had arrived only minutes before she expired. I was glad that my husband got to say his last words. She meant a lot to many people. She was a hoot and such a story teller. OMG, I really miss that lady!!!!!
As far as OC, you let me know when everyone else wants to come and I'm there! Your brother seems like he is such as sweetheart.

Good Morning Everyone: I had a double celebration weekend : the forth and
my Surgiversary on the 5th so I had a weekend filled with Family , Friends and
a lot of reflection. LOL
1. That while visiting my friend in Pa we left her 5 year old at home with Dad
and had our first 3-4 hour long shopping trip since her 5 year old was born:
What made it really fun was that I bought some clothes for my upcoming cruise-
can we say White Stag at Walmart - Blouse size 16-18 . I am now having the problem
of being more bottem heavy- I still struggle to get in size 20-22 pants but the
blouse size is going down consistently.
2. My CD player in the car: I rarely use it prefering the radio with traffic reports:
well Saturday on my way to York I lost the WPOC signal and switched to the CD
player: I enjoyed it so much I kept it on the rest of the weekend and this morning;
I had george strait ( sigh); Reba, and Rascall Flatts in there and was jamming
everywhere I went.
3. For my Furbaby who welcomes me with tailwagging at the door with joy-
like the previous posters have said weather its been 1 hour or all day;
gotta love that unconditional love feeling. Mom and Dad are takiing her to
the groomers today so it will be a much cleaner Cuddles greeting me tonight.
4. For my Surgury: I walked all day Saturday and yesterday; shopping ; going to the gem show;
and up and down the stairs at my friends house . maybe I should have just said
for my Life Saving ( or should that be life giving) Surgury because thats what it is.
Have a wonderful day everyone .
I didn't do too bad at the gem show : saw some beautiful pieces I would love to own
but I'm not foolish enough to spend $1500 for a tanzenite braclet ( I must admit I was tempted too)
I settled for a marcisite/amytest pendent on a purple chain and I replaced a leather necklace
with a rubber one - I broke the leather one last week and I have several pendents
that I had no chain to put them on so I figured $7.00 was a good investment. So for a total
of $55.00 I escaped the gem show LOL I have never seen anything like that place;
one booth had expensive pieces and the next booth had stuff for $5.00 and up.
But the best part was walking around for 3.5 hours and not having to sit down once.
DP - Right there with ya on loving that tanzanite!!! I've loved that gem since long before it became popular. When my ex's grandparents passed and left me some $$, I bought a gorgeous 2 carat tanz surrounded by 1 ct of diamonds. Truly the most $$ piece I've ever bought myself!!! I love the pic you sent me - SOOOOOOOOOO pretty!!! Oh, yeah, give me the $5 booth any day!!! I'm a jewelry-ho!!! Not to be confused with a regular, every day ho!!!! LOL!!
Hugs!

Good Morning!
Glad you had a good 4th weekend and your three for today are so sweet! :-)
Mine.......
1. First and foremost very grateful that I did not get arrested on Saturday night while out with Kristen and Karen! LOLOL They know I'm just teasing! LOL ;-)
2. Grateful that our switchboard operator came back to work today after being out since mid-April! She had a kidney transplant and everything went BEAUTIFULLY!!! She looks amazing and has a new lease on life! Really makes you realize just how lucky you are! She is only 40 years old and came through all this stuff. Prayer really does work!
3. Lastly, today I am grateful for my ability to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. My good friend Kelly made me realize that I haven't been smiling much these last few months and it's time to start again. Thanks girlie!!!! :-) I needed that!
Actually for once Mom is coming to me on Saturday! She offered since I drive there all the time so this'll be a nice change! Think I'm going to take her out North Beach area, walk the board walk, do the antique stores then maybe lunch at Mango's, Thursday's, or Rod & Reel. Will let her pick but want seafood so going to check around. :-)
New chew toy, huh? HMMMMM Well, looking forward to hearing about this one!!! LOL ;-) I'm too chicken to go after a new chew toy, just ask Kristen!!!! LOL Girl, I should have just hid in the corner......BALK BALK BALK all the way!
