3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!
So many things to be thankful for today - I will try to lump them into 3! ;)
1. That I was able to take my kids on a cruise for vacation this year - we got back on the 3rd from 5 days in Grand Cayman and Cozumel - and while on a cruise I LOST A POUND because the ship had healthy food options and a beautiful track on the 10th deck !!!
2. That I came home to a wonderful neighborhood of friends, was able to send my kids to their dad's for the weekend (who is a wonderful father and loves the kids dearly) so that I could host about 15 neighbors for the 4th of July party. Of course it doesn't hurt that one of those neighbors is a very nice divorced gentleman who took me out to a lovely birthday dinner Saturday - and he happens to eat like I do - and appatizer and side salad for each of us (but I couldn't finish mine) and we were both very happy!
3. That I was able to go with very little sleep for over a week while on vacation, and still, thanks to my RNY, had the energy to mow, weedwack, trim hedges, clean bathrooms, take a trip to the mission, clean out 3 cabinets, and waitress for 5 hours - all yesterday. The energy since this is through the roof!
Hey Caryn! I've missed the heck out of you!! Aaron told me that you'd been traveling for work, but I didn't know you were going on a cruise!!! OMG!!! That's so awesome!! I'm glad you had a good time!!! WOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO on the nice neighbor date!!!! Please fill us in when you feel like sharing!!!!!
Glad to hear you're doing so well and I'm glad you're back posting!!
Hugs,
Tia
Thanks Tia!
Work has had me going quite a bit since January, but I had planned this cruise with my kids back in March. We had a fantastic time.
I am also taking 2 long weekends for myself this summer - in 2 weeks I am going toNew Orleans for the weekend to see the sights. And in the middle of Aug I am taking a weekend in St Michael's. Just trying to live life and enjoy!
The new neighbor, we'll just say it is going VERY well, there is a LOT of potential, and I'll leave y'all guessing on the rest...;)
But it's good to be back!
