3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE!!!
hey ya'll, almost the weekend, so i'm happy. can't wait to meet some of you this saturday. that should be alot of fun! here are my three things:
1. that i'm starting to get back to doing something when i get home from work. I tend to get home pretty early for me, leaving about four hours before bedtime. i'm so used to being exhausted and just sitting there, watching tv. after the surgery, i started being more active but recently that has slowed down. i'm getting back into the swing of things so i'm grateful for that. i cleaned the bathroom last night. tonight will probably be the bedroom. it's a mess!
2. my new job. i almost feel like i don't work anymore. it's so nice here. the people are nice, no stress, so easy to get to and from. it's just a wonderful opportunity for me. i think i can actually enjoy working here. for the first time in my career, i'm not depressed about what i do for a living.
3. for my husband. even though we are still learning about each other and making lots of mistakes, we still both keep trying to work things out. he's a really decent man and he really does love me. he might not express it all the time, but i know he does. i'm not the easiest woman to live w/!
Hey Nicole -
I am SO glad you're enjoying the new job and that your stress level is down. Hopefully, now that that's falling into place, you'll be able to focus on other things. Like a hubby who loves you - you KNOW I'd kill for that, right? It's all about taking care of each other, so don't take him for granted or let him do that to you!!!
WOO-HOO!!! Saturday!!! Can't wait!!
Tia
Good morning everyone! I am grateful that 1. my part time, moonlighting job, waiting tables, yielded big bucks last night. Drinks anyone? 2. my scale moved. Yeah! Now only a few pounds from goal. 3. Friday is just a day away. Any exciting plans for the weekend? 4. That I am starting to notice some changes from my Invisaligns - can't wait to get them off and have straight teeth - only 6 more months. Move over Tia - you'll have competition then. lol. 5. That there are still enough single men to go around. I have to wonder - where were they when I was fat? It really does make you wonder how shallow people really are. Too bad - are we having fun yet? 6. And finally, that Gabby and Gia are out of the woods and doing great. Karen
I don't usually reply to this, because I've been on an endless pity party lately (work just SUCKS, I desperately need to get out of retail, for my mental health). BUT, I do read them every day, and I am inspired by all of you EVERY day! Thanks for being here!! 1. For feeling good, having energy, being healthier and making better choices. Better living through RNY. 2. For the most needed vacation of my life being less than 2 months away. 3. That all of my OH friends who are recent post-ops are doing great and especially today that Gia is doing well and showing improvement
Hugs!
Kathy
