doctor visit!

I love dr. averbach! I am thrilled with him! I was given what I have to do, and I can do this! I am excited! can you tell! LOL

So glad you like your doctor.  I really think that having a good rapport with the surgeon is a HUGE percentage of our success.  I think that you will enjoy everyone in the office as they seem to be really concerned about the patient as a person.  Best of luck!  Don't forget that there is a support group meeting at St. Agnes the first Wednesday of the month.  Please try to come.  If you do, find me and introduce yourself....would love to meet you in person.  Deb

i saw that but I thought it said it was just for bypass and lapband people? I would love to come to the support meeting...where is it held at, I am drawing a blank on everything right now...plus I am watching my two grandsons while my daughter goes on a job interview!

The meeting is right at St. Agnes, in the auditorium.  If you stop at the front desk, they can tell you how to get there.  The meeting starts at 6:00.  There have been many pre-op patients there.  It's a good time to talk to some of us and find out what it's like from the patient's point of view.  Please do come!  Deb

And, because the VSG is so new, they put us with the bypass group since it really is ALMOST like the bypass...without all of the replumbing!  :)  Deb

That is great Char. It's it so exciting to feel like you are finally getting it all together?  You'll be approved and scheduled before you know it!
