this is good news.  it's strange because i have never really felt that tightness that you're describing since my first couple days home from the hospital.  i don't know if it's because i'm sticking to small portions now or what, but i don't feel any different post surgery.  i almost have to resist the urge to push the envelope and test my limits, but i was warned to not do that.  i need to just be happy that i'm not hungry and i'm able to now eat puree. 

by the way... i LOVE my magic bullet.  i shredded two ounces of chicken last night and put a little bit of non-fat gravy on it to give it moisture.  YUM.  i was so happy to taste meat again.

Hi Pam and yes that tightness goes away. Dont push your limits. You will regret it. 

I know it was good to taste meat. After the 5DPT I was so ready to eat chicken again and thats dinner tonight. I could of had it friday but went out and ate steak quasadillas instead. I am a chicken a holic.

Way to go girls!  I have been at a standstill for about 2 months now.  Maybe I should try it.  I have my procedures on Thursday so I may wait till next week - just in time for my week at the beach.

Great news and a great job both of you!  You know, my pouch is definitely working, but it's the baby starting to push up on my pouchie!!! lol  I have a feeling that I'll have to eventually have some of my saline removed from the band.  So far only 6 pounds gained and I'm 18 weeks already!  Tomorrow is a check up and sonogram.  Hopefully the baby will cooperate and spread those little legs!  Keep up the good work!
