Good Morning Tia and Welcome Back!!!!  I'm glad to read that you had a blast on your vacation. Thanks for sharing with us about your epiphanies. The second one resonated with me most as it was similar to the one I had about the people responsible for my birth and some of the people I cross paths with in everyday life who seem to do little more than tolerate me... Here's to moving forward, with no more looking back...Today I'm thankful for 1.) Friends. I had such a great time on Saturday. The movie was great, the company even better. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for including me ladies...2.) Trader Joe's Greek Style Non-Fat yogurt (Blueberry)---Yum!!!3.**** cold Isopure!! I've tried 4 flavors so far and each has been better than the one before. I may need a 12 step program before too long. I feel an addiction coming on... Have a great day everyone.  Peace and Blessings, -Antoinette

Hi Toni -

Thanks, I missed you guys!!  Darla was good about keeping me updated on things.

Some alone time is very good for fixing what ails you mentally - in my case, it allowed me to have those epiphanies.

So glad you like the Greek yogurt - I LOVE it, as you well know!!!!  I liked the Isopure, too, but haven't had any in a long time.  Good for you if you can afford to be addicted to it - man that stuff was $$!!!  Good, but $$!!!

Darla's gonna talk to you about August 9 - I expect to see you there!!!

Hugs,

Tia

I'm very glad you're back Tia.......I've been terrible about keeping this board going and Darla has been wonderful doing it!!!

1. My scale is now my best friend again Down 133 pounds as of this morning (81 lost since my surgery).

2. I can carry a load of laundry up and down the stairs without having to hold onto something to pull me up the stairs!

3. my prized size 54 jeans ARE TOO BIG now! I can wear 52's now (but I'm not going to buy anything new at the moment) and I'm in a size XL shirt (down from a 6XL).

4. I'm so grateful for my OH friends and other friends who cared about me when I was having my ordeal with the kidney stone

5. It's monday and I'm actually not groggy at all today which is a MAJOR change for me.

Awww, thanks, Wuzabear!!!!  I missed you terribly!!!!  Thought you'd enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing as we talked on Friday.  But OMG!!  right after that, I was standing in ankle high water rinsing out a bucket for B, and the undertow was HORRIBLE, like a vaccum!!  I got yanked back, and turned ass over tincup!!!!  Of course, KB thought it was the most hilarious thing, and I'm sure it was, but jeez!!!  The worst part is, it totally ripped my thumbnail off really far down, so when I finally surfaced (after what felt like 3 days), there was blood streaming down my arm!!!  What really pissed me off is that I HAD 10 perfect nails - I don't like 9 perfect, so I had to cut them all back!!  BOO-HOO!!!!

I'm so glad you passed that boulder of a kidney stone - you poor thing!!  Darla kept me up to date on your adventure - I'm sorry you had to go through that!!

133 pounds is AWESOME!!!  I'm thinking I'll need to make you a beaded necklace with a bead for each pound lost, but you'll end up walking like Quasimodo!!!!  LOL!!!  BTW, Deb had a really pretty handmade beaded bracelet on - of course, that prompted me to talk about you!!  LOL!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking about giving way beaded necklaces to everyone for each pound lost! That way everyone can enjoy them!!!!!

Okay, so here's my thought, and don't even tell me you're surprised - for your bday dinner, I'll go to the $$ store, buy some beaded necklaces, and you can stand/dance/grovel on the table top and toss them to us - a la Mardi Gras!!!!

Sounds like a plan, huh????

Kim -

Do you prefer big beads or small beads?  I think, in this case, size DOES matter!!!  LOL!!!
