Challenge Update

I finally made the scheduled weigh-in!  I had such an incredible first week, I think my scale went into shock and stopped working.  It's it's stuck at 260.  I'm exercising and eating correctly.  Oh well, lets' see what happens next week.  I'll still make my goal by sept, I have 15 more pounds to go.  How is everyone else doing?

Hi Neil!!

There's no freakin' way I'm even participating this week after being at the beach for a week!!!  I'm back on track this week, so hopefully, I'll feel more inclined to jump in next week!!

Just wanted to say hi!  Hope all is well.

i'm having the same situation where I am eating right and exercising but no movement! it really messes with your head. but soon we will get on the scale and it will drop 5 lbs in one day. it's weird how our bodies work.

Hi Neil...noticed your 4 years out from WLS too. I am starting the pouch test this morning, should be fun....NOT....anyway keep in touch Im curious to see how another longtimer does. Good-Luck...gotta love those protein drinks LOL

Well there for a while my scales and I were mortal enemies. two weeks and my scales never moved but for the last 5 days, they have started moving again. I can't remember the weight I was when i first accepted the challenge though but i can tell you that in the last 5 days I've lost about 9 pounds.

At this point my goal is just to maintain.  I have not been gaining, but have lost another 2 lbs in the past 2 weeks.  I know 2 lbs is not a tremendous amount of weight but, I have passed my last 2 goals and would like to just stick at this weight.  I am thinking that I will eventually have aTT.  I'm sure with the TT it is going to take off a few pounds.  Which would put me much less than I want to weigh.

My initial goal was to weigh 147 and wear a size 10.  I am now 14 lbs below that and in a 6.  Trust me, there is nothing wrong with a 6 and NEVER EVER expected to be this size.  But, I'm fine where I am.

Any ideas on just maintaining??  Fearful of eating more as I have no desire to gain weight.  That is the other scary part.

I have lost .5 pounds so I am still at 173 but I am going to hit the gym this week with full force.
