Yes, Pt Lookout is in Scotland MD ( I think that is it ...) WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY down in the southern tip of MD and sticks into the bay. I think it's going to be awesome if we have good weather .. if not .. it's going to be not so much fun in the RV .. stuck into the middle of the bay!!!!!

Rumor has it that the lighthouse is haunted and there's all sorts of stuff to see around and about. We haven't had much chance to be out with Freddy this summer since we got back from our May trip, so this will be a 3 day get away, then we head to GA for a long weekend in mid-September for our anniversary, and then to NC for the week in early October. I am eyeing one more trip the last weekend in October, but that's not firm yet.

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

That's Eric's neck of the woods, Southern Maryland, so maybe you and Mr. Mo can get together with him. I'm sure he'll happily show off his Tae Kwan Do moves!!!!! NOT!!!

Actually, Eric and I talked about PLO months ago when I first made the reservations for Labor Day weekend. I'll have to remind him about it in the next couple of weeks!

Yes, the lighthouse down there is reportedly to be one of the most paranormal "activity riddled" area in the Country. Lots of people come from near and far to witness freaky stuff.

There used to be an old hotel at PLO, too, which was demolished some years ago. It, too, was a prime hunting ground for ghost hunters. I recall a time one Halloween sneaking in to the place with a few friends and getting the crap scared out of us. It was probably just us getting "caught up in the moment", but it was still freaky stuff.

Also, bring kites with you. Kite flying is pretty awesome down there. The convergence of the Potomac River with the Bay has some magnificent winds, just perfect for flying kites.

Hey, you'll be in my neck of the woods. Seriously.....if you're up to it, give me a shout out so that we can meet. I am about 6 miles from PLO. Either I can stop by the campsite, or you can stop by my place.

It's a nice place down there. Be sure to bring LOTS of bug repellent.
