yeah he's super booked....he even pushed my 3 month follow up a month....so my 3 month has turned into a 4 month follow up. i did my sleep study at greater Washington Sleep Disorders Center at Shady Grove. Of course that was when i still worked in Rockville so it was easy for me to get there.

Morning Handsome!!
Im glad to see I am not the only one to feel Dr K was too booked. I really and truly like him and feel I should just be patient but a part of me says maybe I need to just go somewhere else and get the ball moving faster. I dont know what to do because I respect him as a surgeon. It has to be so hard on him being the only one there that does the WLS.
You know someone just said something about Shady Grove to me the other day. Did you stay overnight? hehe I am so tryna find one that just makes ya stay a few hours like for a LONG NAP! LOL ~Jilly~

i had to go home and take a shower first.  that gel crap was all through my hair.  yuck.  i have a great picture of myself during my sleep study.  it's on my cell phone.  i will figure out how to get it on here.  you would think i was in the hospital dying of a some horrible illness.

REALLY???? That is great news for me. You went to work after that?? LOL You are devoted. Dont they sedate you? Or do they just let you fall asleep on your own? LOL Im a sleep study virgin here. ~Jilly~

nope....no sedation at all.......they want to monitor your regular sleep. sedation would muddle the results because it would put you completely under. it's hard to get to sleep and once you are asleep, they need to get about 6 hours of sleep data on you before they wake you up.

Jilly,

I had mine done at Sleep Disorders Center of the Mid Atlantic in Annapolis as well.  No problems, didn't feel like I'd slept but they got what they needed.  They have a shower there too that they let you use if you are going straight to work.

Good Luck,
Heather
