I KNOW THE AVERBACH/SINGH GASTRIC BYPASS GROUP MEETS THIS WED. AT 6PM AT ST AGNES.
MY QUESTION IS, IS THE DVR GASTRIC BYPASS MEETING BEING HELD AT THE SAME TIME, IN A DIFF. ROOM?

IF SO THAT SUCKS, I LIKE BOTH GROUPS!!!!!!!! I WOULD PROBABLY SPLIT THE HOUR WITH BOTH GROUPS!!!!!!!!!

I think Averbach and Singh's group is separate because they are in a separate practice from DVR and each one has a different approach than the other. At least that is the only thing I can think of.

I just wish they held meetings on different nights. I like both groups. The DVR group is way smaller with lots of group input.

To me the Averbach group is more of an info session with group input after.

Hey Neil!!!  Yup DVR's meeting is this Wednesday.  They are actually starting at 5:30 for Exercise Session till 6 pm and then 6-7 for the support group!  I will be attending DVR's.  I guess I will see you either the 1st half or 2nd half....

i don't think dvr actually opens his meetings up to non-patients.  that sounds so mean to say, but i know i've been told that.

DVR's support groups are for anyone pre or post surgery.

actually, i had an appointment with him the day after our last support group meeting.... and he seemed pretty emphatic that his meetings are only for his patients - pre and post - but his patients only.

I was just wondering how your are doing since surgery.  I am still in the testing process, have my upper endoscopy and Psych appointment September 23 and 10th respectively.  Will be at the support meeting tomorrow and hope to see you.

for the most part, i am doing very well.  my stats are great and i'm losing a pretty awesome rate.  i don't have any real eating issues.  i'm just having constipation issues that are a little beyond the norm.  i have an appointment with dvr today and i'm going for an x-ray to stay on the safe side.  i will definitely be at support group tonight.  is hubby coming?  mine cannot because my daughter has dance, but he's thinking about asking my older daughter to pick her up for us.  so, we shall see.  you know, your hubby reminds me of my deceased sister's husband who i haven't seen since she passed away, so he makes me smile and miss him.

I sure am glad to hear the good stuff and hope you get rid of the bad stuff.  Yes, he is planning on being there in fact he is yelling at me right now to get take my shower since he wants to leave here by 4.  He smiled when I told him that you were asking for him.  See you then this evening unless something changes on your end.
