st agnes/2groups

I HAVE A DIFF. SITUATION. I WAS A DVR PATIENT. WHEN I HAD MY LAST VISIT BEFORE HIS OFFICE WAS TO SEND IN MY INSURANCE CLAIM, I WAS TOLD HE WAS LEAVING GBMC TO GO TO ST AGNES AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 4 MONTHS TO HAVE THE SURGERY. WELL THERE WAS KNOW WAY I WAS WAITING, SO DVR RECOMENDED DR AVERBACH AT ST AGNES. SO THAT SAME DAY I CALLED AVERBACH'S OFFICE AND HE SAW ME AND 3 DAYS LATER I WAS APPROVED FOR THE SURGERY. MY POINT BEING, I WAS DVR'S PATIENT AS WELL AS AVERBACH'S PATIENT. SO I CAN GO TO BOTH. PLUS I AM NEILY J, SO THAT ENTITLES ME TO GO ANY WAY!!!!!

I had never heard of any restriction to attending either support group.

Neil, I don't think anyone is checking your ID at the door.  As for different dr's and different meetings etc., these "closed' meetings are a DVR thing - not an Auerbach/Singh thing.  But eventually I can't imagine that Auerbach and DVR aren't going to hold their meetings jointly since both are soon to be employees of St. Agnes and Singh is not joining them.

Does anyone know of any day time support groups that meet?  I am  newly a stay at home mom.

I can never do the Wed meetings because it is my daughters dance class night and my bowling night. 

Maybe I'll post a seperat entry on the board polling everyone.

I'm sorry, I don't know of any daytime support groups, but if you PM Heather M. (she's on my friends list), she'd love to talk to you.  She is my font of bandster wisdom, and a SAHM to a 3-1/2 year old and is pregnant with my godbaby, due in December.

She'll hook you up and then maybe we can all get together!!
