Welcome Diane!! Looking forward to meeting you. I live on the Kent Island but have traveled to meet many of the Maryland Board Members and it was wonderful. Perhaps we will all get together before the Holidays!

Welcome Diane, this is a great group. My brother had lapband in November 07 and has lost a total of 70 lbs. He recently had to have 3 cc's taken out of his band as he was experiencing some problems with throwing up. They figured it was too tight and said they would reintroduce the fluid back 1 cc at a time and maybe not do all 3 cc's. Anyway, welcome. I live in Southern Maryland, Waldorf, working on getting the RNY.

hi and welcome, there is not a better group to sign to everyday, someone gaurenteed to make you smile laugh and yes sometimes cry, i have yet to have my surgery but this is a great group to guide you through all the ups and downs

Welcome to the Maryland Board Diane. I'll be having my RNY with Dr. Schweitzer on Oct. 7th. I haven't been able to make it to any of the Maryland get togethers yet, but I look forward to the time when I can meet everyone.
