Weber's Farm this year anyone???

Hey peeps!  It's FALL!  Anyone up for getting the group (plus any kids/family) together at Weber's Cider Mill Farm (webersfarm.com) again this year?  This is also their 100th year!  Pumpkin patch, hay ride, maze, hill slide, peddal tractors, animals, etc.  Go to the site for cost of admission, but they also have a nice gift shop, fruits/vegs, pies, etc.  Mid October is the best time to go so that pumpkins don't get soft too early!  Last year we went to lunch afterward at Bill Bateman's. 

Please let me know who is interested!

We're in.  As long as we don't go to Bateman's afterward!!!!!  That was HORRIBLE!!! 

Years ago, Weber's didn't charge to view the animals, etc., but I guess in the current economy, they have to.

We don't have to do Bateman's, but some might want to lunch afterward.  I'll have to think about what's around there close by.

El Salto has some pretty yummy mexican food. Same shopping center as Bill Bateman's.

hi tia! i am doing well. went on the annual summer vacation to OBX two weeks ago with the fiance and his family. so hard to come back to MD. trying to figure out how we can move there and have real jobs and make it work

Can't committ to the Weber's thing. We went there last year and loved the place! especially those apples with caramel - guess that's out of the picture now that i'm post-op, eh? ok well maybe a piece of apple and the smallest drop of caramel. Fiance is going to be out of town that weekend for work, so I'm going to go visit him in Charlottesville, VA. Supposedly very pretty down there in the fall. Sorry

I'm glad everything's going well!!!  It's ALWAYS hard to come back from vacay - regardless of where it is!!!!

As far as the caramel apples - not really sure they're worth the dumping that would ensue!!!!  But their apples are good all by themselves, too!!  And they also have an assortment of s/f products - but therein lies the evil sugar alcohols.  SIGH.  But it's all worth it!!!

Have a great trip to Charlottesville!!  And come see us here more often!!

I heard their food was yummy!  That's good for me!  Bateman's service REALLY sucked the day we were there, but I'm all for new stuff!

i'll be in jersey so i won't be able to go. too bad cuz i love mexican food. lol
