3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!
I'm grateful for:
1. The Holidays were spectacular! I had all of my children with me which is sometimes difficult to manage.
2. I like the daughter's new boyfriend, and even went out to dinner with them and his parents as well as a few others in my family on Saturday.
3. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad to be at work. I missed having routine over the extended holiday shut-down. Being at work also gives me the ability to get onto OH! Yeah!!!
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and successful New Year!

Hi Tia,
Sorry to hear about your Mom and K. I've been on the brink of something cold-like for the past few days and although it hasn't progressed past the scratchy throat and a few sniffles phase, it's driving me crazy! I haven't been sick since way before surgery and I think I must have lowered my resistance over the holidays running around and not getting enough sleep, etc. Grrr!!
Today I'm grateful...
1. That my 3-month follow up with Dr. S went well. I'm down 51 lbs which is almost 1/2 way to my first goal. WOOHOO!!
2. That I got to spend so much time with my sister's over the holidays but I'm glad it's over and I'm back to a routine (like everyone else).
3. That it's a new year and I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE (and pray) that it is better than last year. Except for my RNY, it was a pretty crappy year!

Hey Sweetie!!!
Sorry we didn't connect yesterday, but I'm glad you texted me to let me know you're alive!!!!!
I know 2008 was a yucky year for you, most of all losing Colby-girl, and I hope that 2009 brings you and Mike some much needed peace and contentment!!! I am SOOOOO happy to have met you and already consider you a wonderful friend!!! MUAH!!!
As far as your family, remember: "Choose your pet carefully, it's the only chance you'll have to pick a family member!!!" Truer words were never spoken - no matter HOW much you love them!!!!
Love you,
Tia
