im so so mad

i was approved on april 13,and still no date .found out yesterday that kim steele will not be my dr.i will have dr lidor.but cant get a date to see her until friday and she has no surgery openings until late june o.m.g  im so friggin mad

I guess I'm confused as to how one doctor can be swapped out for another... but I'm sorry for the delay I know I'd be insane if that happened to me.

at least there's a back up plan....

You won't even know how the next 2 months fly away and it'll be the date of surgery.

From what I understand it probably couldn't be helped - Dr. Steele is going on maternity leave.

There's always a wait for the Bayview surgeons - as Sylvie said - it will go by fast.

Hi, I almost commented on your post about loosing the pre-op weight but didn't have anything positive to say. Sorry!  I am in the exact same boat that you are...   I have been working with dr.steele for a year and a half.  I almost lost my weight she required and then because of some bloodwork i had to postpone my surgery.  I had a date of Nov. 3 2009.  Anyway, I gained back the weight i had lost :( holidays, snowstorms etc.  And now I will be seeing Doc. Lidor too.  I have an apt. with her on Monday but was hoping to have my surgery before late june so that is a bummer to hear.   I only met dr. steele once so i am not so upset about the change but am soooo ready to get this done.
