Whooo that's gonna be a heck of a drive..but I'm excited too. I've already started my Pre-Op diet trying to make sure my BMI is as low as possible for my weigh in I'm not trying to pay any additional money for a high BMI. I wish you luck and we have to stay in touch.

My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Lopez at Vida on 3/2. I am so excited I can barely stand it. We are driving from Alabama to San Diego (as I have concerns with fitting in the plane seats). My highest weight was 365, currently 348 and goal for me is 160-175 (I'm almost 6' tall). I would love to hear things go for everyone!

I went through Heath .... Dr kelly called me within a few days of me filling out the paperwork. Heath is an awesome asset as he answers or gets the answers to any questions you will have!

Yes, I have delt with Heath and Dr Kelly only. I'm going the first week in March!
He is Dr. Kelly's coordinator. He'll sent you the medical forms and answer your questions but you can ask to speak to Dr. Kelly at any time and before or after you fill out the forms. He will call you when he is able to. He usually doesn't take long to get back to you. He definitely calls you when you are approved. Good Luck and great choice! Linda PS When you call Dr. Kelly's office Heath will be the first person you will talk to unless there is anther coordinator working there also. So you are calling Dr. Kelly's office directly which is the best thing to do.

When you book with Dr. Kelly do you have to go through Heath Townson? Is he a middleman, or can you call Dr. Kelly's office direct?

My date is 2/16 we're in the same hospital with the same doctor we should cross paths.. My husband is a character he will be there providing the entertainment.. We're staying at the hospital a few days and a few days at the Marriott..
