Topic: RE: A Lighter Me--please share your negative experiences with me

Here I am with another couple days being a little befuddled and turned off by the admin process at ALM.  I have emailed forms back and forth and was told to pick out a surgery date (this is to the rep Sonya).  Like, shouldn't they be telling me the days the Dr. works and we go from there?  I also sent 5 or 6 questions I wanted answered and have yet to hear back.

I would appreciate any honest feedback.  I'm suspicious that it's hard to find negative feedback on ALM.  I'm looking to go with Dr Covarrubias in the Nov timeframe.

Topic: My new life

Living my new life to a few have lost so much weigh it is incredible and loving every min of it.

I had a post op call and had ask my coordinator to ask Dr Quinones if he could give me a study diet and he did.

I have now learned to eat right do exser the right way and now enjoying my new life to the fullest.

I am so glad I decided to do this surgery for me just wish I would have done it a lot earlier than I had.

I am down 60 lbs and look great I still have a ways to get to my goal but I am doing everything that I am supposed to do.

I have had a few stall here and their but I get right back on track, and if anybody is looking into surgery I would recommend my surgeon he is the best.

And thanks for reading this to all have a nice day,and good luck on your journeys.

Topic: A Lighter Me--please share your negative experiences with me

I have been researching and I have had a little communication with A Lighter Me.  I know they are a sponsor here and so I am not surprised to see all the glowing remarks and to see that their own ALM Facebook page has glowing info too, but I know there must be some negative experiences so please share those with me.  I have struggled to send and receive their forms via email, which as an attention-to-detail kind of gal, irks me no end.

Topic: Stall stage

So the last 2 1/2 weeks I have had a stall not so happy about it but I know this comes with the surgery.

On the other hand very happy I have lost 45 lbs but this stall is starting to really get to me.

I was told by some one that a piece of chocolate could help with the stall, what really surgery could this be true, could our body get used needing sugar. I was told that our body need calories some time and that is the cause of stalls. Does anybody know if a piece of chocolate can really help.

On the other hand beside the stall I have been doing great so happy with the decision that I have made and would do it all over if I had to. I do not think I could have asked for a better surgeon he has changed the way I look at my self mentally and fiscally I have so much more energy I walk about 3 to 4 miles a day and I do not fell like I want to pass out after my daily walk.

I have been wanting to put up pic but still not that confident well the truth is I probably to have the confidence but just have not got around to do it. Noe that I can do so much more than ever I have been spending every min  I can with my family I will never be able to get the years back that I have lost but from here on out I can be able to start over again.

That is why this surgery was so important to me and I have been living a new me.

My kids are loving they way I am looking and they even help me when I need to make healthy meals they eat it just to support me.

My fam is my all and I would not ever have gotten this surgery if it was not for them, so this is a big shout out to everybody that helps us sleever and yes to my surgeon Dr,Quinones he as well made this dream come true.
