If I am sipping on Isopure through out the day does that count as part of my 64 oz of fluid? Thanks in advance. Stacy

No, protein does not count as fluids. They mean water, crystal light etc. as fluids. I know you are early out Stacy, and I remember it was next to impossible to get it all in...Just do your best and you will be fine. Good Luck! Theresa

I wasn't sure of that....but see I don't sip my Isopure, I drink half in the early morning before work, then the rest of the bottle by 11am to get in 40 grams by noon, along with my protein bar for a total of 59 grams by lunch time. Thanks Theresa! I was not sure either! Stacey

Now my surgeon said that Isopure (the clear ready to drink) DID count toward my fluid intake for the day. The ones I am talking about are made with water. What I might suggest is call your nutritionist or docs office and ask. Jennifer 355/284/140

HI Stacy, Time & time again I have heard from nutritionists, doctors and others that the best way to gage if you are reciving enogh liquid intake is the color, or lack thereof, of your urine. Yellow means not enough & increase your fluids, pale, pale to clear means you are fine. I offer this as a way to make a good jusgement if you're like me and can't do or do a less than perfect job of the "counting"ounces like me. Good luck! Patt
